bigtamTwo separate things
There are two things you might want to remove from Bigtam Console, and they are separate. You can cut off the Meta connection without closing your account, and you can close your account entirely.
1. Disconnect Meta: immediate, do it yourself
In Bigtam Console, open Connections and press Disconnect. This happens at once and does two things:
- asks Meta to revoke Bigtam's access to your ad account;
- deletes the stored access token from our database.
You can also revoke access from Facebook's side, without us: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find Bigtam, and remove it. Either route ends our access.
Performance figures already imported (spend, impressions, purchases and revenue, by ad, by day) stay in your workspace so your existing reports keep working. To remove those as well, ask below and say so.
2. Delete your account and everything in it
Email privacy@gobigtam.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my data. Sending it from the registered address is what lets us act without putting you through an identity check.
We will confirm within 3 working days and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in record and workspace membership.
- Everything you uploaded: videos, images and files.
- Creative analyses, funnels, briefs and ad names produced for your brand.
- The stored Meta access token, and our access is revoked.
- All imported Meta performance figures for your brand.
- Any Andromeda check application or earlier waitlist entry, if one exists.
What is not deleted, and why
- Aggregate, anonymised statistics. Bigtam keeps counts of how often creative structures appear across all brands, for example how many analysed ads open on a face. These carry no brand name, no account identifier and nothing traceable to you, and they cannot be reversed into your data. If you would rather we removed your contribution too, say so in the email and we will.
- Records law requires us to keep, such as invoices and tax records. These are kept for the statutory period and used for nothing else.
- Backups, briefly. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those roll off. It is not restored to the live service.
3. Only applied for a check?
Send the same email from the address you applied with, and we will delete your application and our notes.
Data about your ads, not about people
Worth being clear, because it changes what deletion means here: Meta does not give us individual-level data and we do not request it. Everything we read from a connected account is about your ads, their names and their totals, not about the people who saw them. There is no profile of any individual to delete.
